Current Assignment in the College of Education and Human Sciences:
Associate Professor and Extension Family Economist
.75 FTE Cooperative Extension
.25 FTE Agricultural Research Division
Fellow, Center for Applied Rural Innovation, 2000

Course Taught: CYAF 222 Introduction to Family Finance

Philosophy Statement:
I believe in the land-grant mission where the ultimate goal is delivering reseach-based information to students and clientele.

As an Extension Family Economist, I am committed to extending financial literacy to all people. Having money does not guarantee happiness or success, but not having it or not knowing how to manage the financial resources one does have easily leads to disaster for individuals and families.

I am especially interested in rural women and their families, credit debt managment, and pre-retirement and post-retirement financial literacy.
