Philosophy Statement:
The purpose of my research is to understand, develop, and implement strategies that facilitate, support and/or measure cognition, motivation, and self-regulation within diverse instructional and cultural settings. In particular, I am interested in how educators can best serve students within technology-mediated environments. One inmportant aspect of my research is my focus on intervention studies. By that I mean I try to do research that has an immediate and direct impact on the lives of students.
